Kyoto 2017 Masterpost

Hi everyone, I thought it would be helpful for anyone going through my Kyoto 2017 traveling posts if I compiled a masterlist of the places I have been with links to the actual posts themselves. This way, you can just glance over this masterlist and find what you are looking for. Please note that the 2017 Kyoto trip took place during the fall foliage season and so these posts will include some night viewing at temples.

I also wanted to talk a little bit about how I moved around Kyoto during my trip since there was a question about that but I think it would be best if I split it up into a separate post.

April Favorites

Wow, this is my second favorites post this year and I actually did them consecutively! I collected a couple of favorites this month and only one of them is a beauty product. For some reason, I have been in a more home decor/comfort mood lately and I think my favorites will reflect that.

Brentwood Home Wedge Pillow with Gel Foam Memory

I went ahead and ordered them from Costco’s website after seeing them in a friend’s room. This is basically a wedge memory foam pillow that’s great for a good night sleep if you’re not comfortable with sleeping flat anymore. I’m still getting used to sleeping at an incline so I haven’t used it for sleeping but I love using it for other things.

I like propping this up against the bed frame and enjoy my tea, movie, book, or even video game in bed. It’s really comfy and I imagine much better for my back than cramming a flat pillow in between the wall and my back. I have also made a DIY movie recliner at home with this by stacking this wedge pillow against some couch cushions. Unfortunately, they don’t have cuter pillow case designs for it but he outside case is removable and so thankfully, washable.

Japan Haul 2017 – Cosmetics

On my last trip to Japan, I didn’t have too much time to shop but despite that, I did manage to get a pretty decent haul. I didn’t want to go too crazy since I had just done a Sephora haul before leaving on my trip so I only picked up items that really interested me or was something I didn’t have.

I decided to split this haul into several posts so that it’s not too long. Be sure to check back for weekly updates!
