Hi everyone, here is my promised review on Etude House’s Play Color Eyes #Wine Party from a couple weeks back. I got this palette off of Amazon for around $20 and let’s just jump straight to the review!

April Favorites

Wow, this is my second favorites post this year and I actually did them consecutively! I collected a couple of favorites this month and only one of them is a beauty product. For some reason, I have been in a more home decor/comfort mood lately and I think my favorites will reflect that.

Brentwood Home Wedge Pillow with Gel Foam Memory

I went ahead and ordered them from Costco’s website after seeing them in a friend’s room. This is basically a wedge memory foam pillow that’s great for a good night sleep if you’re not comfortable with sleeping flat anymore. I’m still getting used to sleeping at an incline so I haven’t used it for sleeping but I love using it for other things.

I like propping this up against the bed frame and enjoy my tea, movie, book, or even video game in bed. It’s really comfy and I imagine much better for my back than cramming a flat pillow in between the wall and my back. I have also made a DIY movie recliner at home with this by stacking this wedge pillow against some couch cushions. Unfortunately, they don’t have cuter pillow case designs for it but he outside case is removable and so thankfully, washable.

Sephora VIB Rouge Sale Mini Haul

It is that time of the year again when the pumpkin spiced lattes roll off the menu and we (if you’re in the good old USA) change our clocks; but most importantly, it is time for the Sephora annual spring sale! Since the winter sale has a bigger discount (20% as opposed to 15% for spring) and the holidays sales often mean awesome bundles, I try to keep my spring purchases light. Like an expensive appetizer for me to mull over the sad state of my wallet while I wait for the winter sale.

Hi everyone, today was suppose to be my Sephora sale haul but since I got back from school so late, I decided to push that post back to Thursday; which means I have some time to play with the products that I got. I also got a morphe palette review and an etude house eyeshadow palette review lined up so please check back for those!

Meanwhile, I’m excited to share this sheet mask that I got during my last Yamibuy sheet mask haul. This was really helpful when my skin was recovering to that nasty allergy reaction I got from testing out a product.

Stila Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow Travel Size Review

IMG_4031 copy.jpg

Ulta recently added the travel size version of Stila’s popular shimmer and glow liquid eye shadow for $12 a piece and I could not resist picking these up. These travel size version contain 0.07 oz of product whereas the full size contains 0.15 oz of product for $24 a piece, making the full size product the more worth-it one. I ended up getting the travel size one because I bought these colors mainly to highlight under my eyes instead on the actual eyelids and $24 for two colors sounded like a friendly compromise between me and my wallet.
