To celebrate the end of our second to last quarter of our senior year, we decided to go for K-BBQ to celebrate because why not? We had just finished our finals and wanted to stuff our post-finals selves with good food.
356° K-BBQ & Bar is new Korean BBQ place that opened up near us and so we decided to try it out. They have two menu sets for AYCE Korean BBQ: a $25.99 and a $29.99. We opted for the $25 since there was more than enough food options on that menu for us to choose from.
Shout out to chef Regina for making all of the yummy food for us! 10/10 would totally recommend.
One thing I love about Korean places is the side dishes that are served immediately when you sit down.
Our food arrived quite quickly so we didn’t have to wait long. I ordered the sweet pumpkin thinking that it was pumpkin soup but it was actual slices of raw pumpkin that you can grill.
We also ordered green-tea pork belly. It came out pretty well, there is a faint taste of green tea on the pork belly after you cook it.
Since this was KBBQ, we went ahead and ordered more meat ♥. The Doenjang-jjigae (soybean stew) was actually pretty good too. It wasn’t too salty or overwhelming.
Overall, the meat quality and the food was pretty good so check it out if you are ever in San Diego.
